Bayley undertook the restoration by repairing and/or replacing the distinctive oriental ornamental plaster molding, addressing all finishes, particularly those on the upper walls and ceiling. The comprehensive process involved cleaning and repainting the entire interior, along with modifications to electrical, H.V.A.C., some structural systems, and stage rigging. Additionally, the project included the creation of an orchestra pit and the removal and replacement of all seating, accompanied by the re-sloping of the floor to accommodate the new seating layout.
