DESCRIPTION

The project involved the phased construction of a new 100,000 SF Performing Arts Center at the occupied Liberty High School. The scope of work included selective demolition and the construction of a new building that houses a Culinary Arts area, a kitchen with a loading dock, and a west end chiller. The facility also features a main theatre with an orchestra pit, control booth, and stage, along with a choral practice room, instrumental room, grand lobby entry, classrooms, and a smaller Black Box theatre. Additionally, site work includes the relocation of parking areas and six tennis courts, the installation of water, gas, and sewer utilities, new landscaping, and the implementation of new storm drainage systems, including a detention pond and a rain garden.
