The United States Marine Corps abandoned their 80-year-old air station in Tustin, California in 2004. The city and several other public agencies re-planned the use of the site and Bayley Construction was chosen as the Construction Manager to manage the initial phase of infrastructure to support a major retail development, The District. Work involved grading and installation of electrical service, street lighting, sewers, water service, storm drainage, curbs, gutters and street. Scope also included tie-ins to all surrounding infrastructure.
